A name from the family
Aadriks was founded in 2023 and is owned by Ms Mahuya Chatterjee of Kolkata. The brand is named after her grandson Aadrik, who was born the same year.
A rising sun between the mountains
Aadrik means the rising sun between the mountains, and our logo draws exactly that. It is also where the arches and the sun on this website come from.
More choice for Indian chocolate lovers
The brand was conceived by Mohana Chatterjee, Aadrik's mother and a PhD researcher. She saw that Indian shelves had little variety and wanted a brand with unusual, premium chocolates and desserts at fair prices. Aadriks was established on 8 November 2023.
Licensed first, sold out soon after
Before launch, Aadriks completed its FSSAI approval, trademark registration and GST registration. Marketing head Mr Biswajit Chatterjee then led the team at events across West Bengal, where the whole collection sold out quickly. Within a year the brand had a loyal following.
